Cheryl Roberts Oliver joined EMD as an executive with 30+ years experience in corporate and nonprofit environments, including 20 years leading non-profit organizations and ten years as an independent consultant. Prior to joining EMD, Oliver retired from her eleven-year position as executive director of St. Louis Effort for AIDS (EFA). During the last two years, Oliver worked with her board of directors and leadership team initiating and implementing the merger of EFA and AIDS Resource Center, resulting in the first HIV Medical Clinic in the St. Louis Region. Her skills and strengths include turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions; board development; leadership development; succession planning; capacity building, community engagement and stakeholder communications. Her executive coaching emphasis in on empowering individuals and teams to be better informed about the cycles of change, making them more prepared to sustain creativity and productivity when faced with the next inevitable transition. Her change management book, The Heart of Change: A Book About Dreams is scheduled to be published in 2019.
